The proposed project aims at supporting the ECOWAS and the private sector of the region in finalizing a regional Policy Investment Framework (PIF), preparing a Community Investment Act (CIA) and better positioning itself in the context of the on-going negotiations on an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).
The project will seek to identify clauses of the Community Investment Act that better serve the interests of the region and lead to achieving the overall objectives set out in the Cotonou Agreement, notably those concerning the developing dimension of cooperation and the reduction of poverty.
