The Project seeks to introduce basic Competition Policy, Legislation and identify the relevant institutional set up to create an enabling environment in member States of the ECOWAS Region leading to the reform, efficiency and productivity of SOEs and the general competitiveness of the Investment and Business Environment as well as the protection of Consumer beneficiary Rights.” These would ensure that the economies of the Region are competitive, lead to economic growth, employment creation and poverty reduction.
